Dead Sea Scroll Bible - Habakkuk 3

A prayer of Habakkuk the prophet, set to Shigionoth.
O Lord, I have heard the report about you and am afraid. O Lord, revive your work in the midst of the years; in the midst of the years make it known; in wrath remember mercy.
God comes from Teman, and the Holy One from Mount Paran. Selah. His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of praise.
And his brightness was the light; he had rays coming forth from his hand; and there was where his power was hidden.
Before him went the pestilence, and fiery bolts went forth at his feet.
He stood and measured the earth; he beheld, and made the nations tremble; and the eternal mountains were scattered; the everlasting hills did bow; his goings were as of old.
I saw the tents of Cushan in affliction; the curtains of the land of Midian did tremble.
Was the Lord displeased with the rivers? Was your anger against the rivers, or your wrath against the sea, that you rode upon your horses, upon your chariots of salvation?
You indeed awakened your bow, staffs are ready for command. Selah. He split the earth and the rivers.
The mountains saw you, and were afraid; the clouds poured out water; the deep uttered his voice and lifted up his hands on high.
The sun and the moon stood still in their habitation, at the light of your arrows as they went, at the shining of your glittering spear.
You marched through the land in indignation; you threshed the nations in anger.
You went forth for the salvation of your people, for the salvation of your anointed; you wounded the head of the house of the wicked, laying bare the foundation even to the neck. Selah.
You pierced with his own staves the head of the warrior; they storm in to scatter us; their rejoicing was as to devour the poor secretly.
You tread the sea with your horses, the heap the mighty waters.

This prayer rehearses the conquest of palestine by Joshua when the sun stood still to give the victory. Judges 4 and 5 mark the second correcting sun miracle for Joshua. "Laying bare the foundation" of Hazor - there was complete and quick victory.
