Hello:

This is where I work. Feel free to talk about the farm or thoroughbreds.

Hello, I was curious to see if you knew the best place to find an off the track Thoroughbred for sale in the Lower Mainland. I am looking for my next Event horse as my current Thoroughbred is starting to age and is starting to get arthrithis and she was an off the track horse too.
Any information would be wonderful.
Thank you
Alicia

New Stride Foundation in Langley may be able to help.

This is sort of a stretch but I am trying to track down some info on a Thoroughbred that I may be purchasing and for some reason it led me back to this farm. Her registered name is Atriptodixie out of Dixieland Brass and A Pleasant Trip. If you know this horse and info you could give me would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Tamara

This info above I collected from my CD on Thoroughbred Broodmare records - we sold her dam Pleasant Trip when she was in foal to Dixieland Brass in 1995 - I lost track of her since then. Hope this is of some use to you.

I just noticed your posts re: Pleasant Trip. I own the 2001 filly out of Pleasant Trip (by Stephanotis), named Nora’s Dream. Small world, eh?
I also have a fondness for off track thoroughbreds (although Nora was unraced), and currently have one of those, too– a 2002 gelding named “It’s Curtains”. Did you end up purchasing Atriptodixie?
