The BENNETT ESTATE SOLD OUT

Email s@sunnyokanagan.com

The Bennett House is now home to a stately new housing development.

The Centerpiece of the 16-townhome development is the historic Bennett family home where Cecil and May Bennett raised their family after settling here in 1930. As the family grew into prominence, so too, the Bennett Estate became one of Kelowna's most significant properties.

Today a new generation of the Bennett family has taken great care to preserve the grace and elegance of their grandparent's estate. The historic home now serves as a common area for the exclusive use of home-owners at the Bennett Estate and includes a meeting room, a billiards room, a library, and an exercise facility.

In addition to the home itself, extensive work has been carried out on the approximately 3-acre grounds to restore and preserve the gardens where, for years, Cecil and May entertained and hosted their annual garden party - a high point of the Kelowna summer.

The townhomes at the Bennett Estate are truly worthy of the term 'prestigious'. Each of the 17 executive-style homes has been placed on the property so as to take advantage of the peaceful setting provided by the stately gardens, and the natural creek that runs through the neighborhood.

Homes are available in two floor plans: a 1,672 sq.ft. plan on one level with two bedrooms and a den; or a lofted rancher 1 or lofted rancher 2 with 3 bedrooms and a den arranged over 2,089 sq.ft. Unique design touches found throughout the homes, especially in the kitchens and the bathrooms, recall elegance of decades past. And, in keeping with the high quality of workmanship, Bennett Estate homes also offer only the highest quality appliances and fixtures.

A spacious master bedroom, ample living room and convenient enclosed double garage are common to both designs.
